This 5'x8' utility trailer is made in the USA and built to last! Remackel Trailers is the place to buy a high quality model. Our trailers are rugged and built to last because they are made of steel and are galvanized to prevent rusting. We have high quality trailers available to suit many needs.
Why do we hot dip galvanize our 5'x8' utility trailer. It’s your best value. Hot dip galvanizing outperforms other coatings for its long life and ease of maintenance. The life expectancy of galvanized coatings steel is far in excess of any painted trailer. We hot dip galvanize our utility trailers because it prevents your trailer from rusting. We weld our utility trailers and then have them dipped in a bath of zinc that coats the steel. Even the rims for the tires on our trailers are galvanized!
Welding our 5'x8' Utility Trailer. Since 1980, Remackel Trailers has been welding its own canoe trailers and will always continue to do so. We take pride in producing a quality utility trailer that won’t crack a year or two down the road.
High Quality Marine treated plywood. Marine plywood is a treated plywood that is manufactured from durable face and core veneers, with few defects so it performs longer in humid and wet conditions and resists delaminating and fungal attacks. Its construction is such that it can be used in environments where it is exposed to moisture for long periods. We use ½” plywood on the side and 5/8” for the bed of our 5'x8' utility trailer.
Waterproof Canvas Cover. The waterproof canvas cover is such a great item to have on your utility trailer. It is made in the USA with 18oz high tear vinyl by a local family owned small business. Our waterproof canvas cover will prevent your items from getting wet while you’re trying to transport your belongings.
5'x8' Utility Trailer Twin Ramps. Our Twin ramps are 12" wide by 5 feet long and are rated to hold a 1000 lbs. These ramps are hot dipped galvanized to prevent rusting and can also be used in place of the lift out tail gate. These ramps stack on top of each other and are held in by two pins.
5'x8' Utility Trailer Tie Down Rings. We put 5 tie down rings on the trailer to secure any gear or equipment inside the trailer. We install two tie down rings on each side of the trailer and one on the front of the trailer. Our rings are rated at 1200 lbs of pull strength. Some trailer manufacturers anchor their tie down rings to the wood, which would cause the rings to rip through the wood. We bolt them to the angle iron on the side of the trailer so you have sturdy anchor points.
